<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic incision and coagulation instrument that enables treatments by irradiation with ultrasonic waves, realizes shorter operation time by improvement of a coagulation and incision capability and expands subjects for treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic incision and coagulation instrument has an ultrasonic vibrator 11 generating ultrasonic waves, a power source 30 supplying power to drive the ultrasonic vibrator 11, and a blade 21 including a vibration section 22 inserted into the abdominal cavity of a living body and vibrating on the basis of the ultrasonic waves generated by the ultrasonic vibrator 11 and intended to coagulate and incise a treated site of the living body and a holding section 23 intended to hold and fix the treated site with the vibration section 22. Furthermore, an irradiation ultrasonic wave vibrator 50 generating strong ultrasonic waves and an ultrasonic wave irradiating site 50a irradiating the living body with the strong ultrasonic waves are provided in the vibration section 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
