PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate manufacturing apparatus in which a slip does not occur between a passing roll and a web. SOLUTION: A propeller 64 is fixed to a tip of a shaft 60 of the passing roll 30, and the propeller 64 is covered with a cover 66 having an air supply duct 72 and an exhaust duct 74. The air supplied from the duct 72 is blown to the propeller 64, and then exhausted to the duct 74 via a vent port 66B, and the propeller 64 is thereby rotated to rotate the roll 30 via the shaft 60. Thus, the propeller 64 is rotated by the air to aid the rotation of the roll 30, thereby reducing a rotary resistance generated at a bearing 56, and the roll 30 can be synchronized with a linear speed of the web 12. Accordingly, the roll 30 is not slipped, and there is no possibility of a scuff on a surface of the web 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
