PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system whereby a dynamic DNS service can easily be utilized, and to provide a router and a management server that are components of the network system. SOLUTION: The management server 11 authenticates the router RT on the basis of a MAC address determined in a LAN interface of the router RT. Further, the management server 11 generates a unique host name of a phone address from the MAC address of the router RT to register a cross-reference between a domain name including the host name and a dynamic global IP address assigned from a provider to the router RT to a DNS server 13.
