PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image receiving sheet which permits easy identification of the front surface and rear surface of the electrophotographic image receiving sheet, can prevent the electrophotographic image receiving sheet from being accicentally loaded into a paper feed tray of equipment, and can prevent the occurrence of the trouble of the equipment. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image receiving sheet has a toner image receptive layer containing at least a thermoplastic resin on at least one side of a base and is provided with an identification display which is used for discriminating the front surface and the rear surface and to prevent accidental printing or photographic printing on the rear surface side or further accidental printing or photographic printing on the rear surface as well after printing or photographic printing on the front surface. The identification display is any selected from information (Exif information) relating to logo marks, prices, performance, catch phrases, corporate names, names of commodity, figures, drawings, patterns, and images, information on the copyrights of the images, kinds of photographic machines, photographers, etc., and information on the contents of image processing.
