PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer tape for use of a tapelike semiconductor package substrate which itself does not bend like a gutter in its longitudinal direction or does not shift in its breadthwise direction, that is, does not lose the effect of spacing. SOLUTION: The spacer tape consists of a long tape body 4 with a predetermined width and members for supporting the tapelike semiconductor package substrate 2. The member is a magnet 5. The magnets are provided on both surfaces of the tape body. The polar relation of the magnets is such that poles on the face of a magnet 5A provided on one of the surfaces are different from those on the face of a magnet 5B provided on the other surface.
