The torque sensor, consisting of first (5) and second (6) coaxial shafts connected by a torsion bar (7), a multi-pole magnet (8) and a set of magnetic yokes (9) surrounded by flux collecting rings (10), and a magnetic detector (11), has the outer surface of the collecting rings surrounded by a magnetic screen (18) with sections covering the ring's lateral surfaces. The screen can be integrated with the rings by resin molding and directly cover their outer cylindrical surface.
