<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical disk brake that can prevent eccentric wear of a lining in each pad. <P>SOLUTION: In this mechanical disk brake for putting a disk rotor 31 into a pair of pads 12 and 13 and for braking by pushing and moving the pads 12 and 13 attached to a support bracket 11 mounted on a vehicle body braking side surfaces 31a and 31b of the disk rotor 31 by a turning operation of a braking lever 14, there are provided cam mechanisms A and B corresponding to the pads 12 and 13 respectively, for pushing and moving the pads 12 and 13 toward the surfaces 31a and 31b of the disk rotor 31 by the turning operation of the lever 14. Also there is provided an adjust mechanism C that can move the cam mechanisms A and B in proximity to each other and that can adjust gaps S1 and S2 made between each of the pads 12 and 13 and the surfaces 31a and 31b of the disk rotor 31 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
