PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information equipment which permits a program being received to be watched without any omission immediately after end of an interruption factor even when a watching of the television or the like is interrupted due to an telephone call, a visitor, or the like. SOLUTION: An information equipment having a means to record and play back a received image signal is provided with a recording medium to perform a recording, a means to detect a recording start signal when displaying a video image with the received video signal directly to start recording of the video signal being displayed automatically, and a means to perform a playback of the video record information being recorded and a recording of the rest of the video signal being recorded collaterally when the recorded video playback start signal is detected during the video recording.
