PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which reduces a loss in an air passage and never causes a decrease of an air flow rate even if dust is accumulated. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a dust separating part 101 in an air passage extending from a suction port 100 of a main body of the vacuum cleaner to an air suction opening 107A of an electric fan 107. The dust separating part 101 includes a cylindrical passage 102S communicating with the suction opening at one end, an abutting part 103 provided on the other end of the passage 102S, and an opening 102A provided on the peripheral wall of a tube part 102 and communicating with the air suction opening 107A of the electric fan 107.
