PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use capacity of a memory device by easily deleting unnecessary files recorded in a recording device. SOLUTION: When operation of an information processor is started, a control unit 6 scans all of multimedia files, which are housed in the recording device 2, for retrieval to read regenerative date data given to each of the multimedia files (step S31). When a multimedia file, of which regenerative date has already passed, exists, the control unit 6 enters a deletion routine to delete a reference of the given deletion mode of each of the contents (step S32). Namely, deletion is automatically carried out or carried out after displaying a deletion confirmation message in a display unit 6 in relation to the multimedia file, of which regenerative date has already passed.
