<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abrupt torque change accompanied by the transfer to the slip control while preventing occurrence of a tight cornering brake phenomenon in a low-speed turn. <P>SOLUTION: A conventional dead zone is set to be a first slip control area, a temporary indicated torque is obtained with a value proportional to the slip quantity as a maximum value, the temporary indicated torque is corrected by a correction value according to the tight cornering brake quantity to be the indicated torque of a transfer clutch, and occurrence of a tight cornering brake phenomenon is prevented. In the slip control area (a second slip control area) after the dead zone, the slip control is performed with the sum of the indicated torque according to the slip quantity and the indicated torque in the first slip control area as the indicated torque, and the second slip control area is smoothly transferred from the first slip control area.
