PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully satisfy "need for truth" which is a user's desire in information activity. SOLUTION: A player control device 8 of a digital contents player prepares play contents by dividing the digital contents of electronic publication into a plurality of block data. The user originates access control data for accessing the play contents in at least one access form out of a character image display and voice output, and the play contents specified by the user is reproduced based on the access control data corresponding to the access form specified by the user. Further, the access history or reaction history of the user is extracted and stored for every block, and the information activity of a group to which the user personally or a plurality of users belong is supported based on the stored history.
