PURPOSE: A turbo charger of an engine of an automobile is provided to prevent turbo lack phenomenon by allowing efficient supercharging of introduced air when the automobile starts or rapidly starts at low speed. CONSTITUTION: A turbo charger has an acceleration unit(30) placed between an impeller(22) and a turbine(6). The acceleration unit is formed as a simple planetary gear set applying a single pinion planetary gear set. A sun gear(32) of the single pinion planetary gear set is connected to the turbine. A planetary carrier(34) is connected to the impeller. A ring gear(36) is coupled through a rolling member, a bearing(38), in such a manner that the ring gear is rotated in a turbo charger housing(40), and is variably connected through a frictional member, a brake(42). RPM of the turbine connected with the sun gear is largely accelerated by the single pinion planetary gear set to supercharge introduced air when the brake is operated while the impeller acts as an input factor by discharge force of exhaust gas.
