POROGENIC ADDITIVE FOR SILICONE ELASTOMER FOAM

The invention relates to a porogenic additive for use in production of silicone elastomer foams, which forms a single phase and which comprises: (1) water, (2) a mineral charge, (3) a texturing agent which is a water-soluble thermoplastic polymer with a high molecular mass equal to or greater than 50,000 g/mol, particularly 100,000 g/mol and (4) preferably a liquid polymer which is water-soluble, having a viscosity less than or equal to 5000 mPa.s at 25 DEG C. The invention further relates to a silicone composition with peroxide or as a polyaddition cross-linker, generating an elastomeric foam and comprising a porogenic additive as above.
