PURPOSE: An electron gun for CRT is provided to improve effectively deflection aberration by using a magnetic substance formed on an electron gun, while achieving improved resolution. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun comprises a cathode emitting electron beams, a plurality of electrodes, and a shield cup arranged sequentially from the cathode toward screen direction. A magnetic substance is formed on an upper and a lower path of an outer electron beam. A part of the shortest distance of the magnetic substance in a vertical direction is located between the center of the outer electron beam through hole and the center of a center electron beam through hole.
