PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight airtight door capable of easily securing airtight performance. SOLUTION: Airtight materials 6 and 7 for securing airtightness during closing of the door are provided between a periphery of a door body 1 and a door frame 2. A knob 3 for opening and closing provided on a surface in a weather strip side of the door body 1 is provided detachably with respect to the door body 1. Hinges 5 supporting the door body 1 on the door frame 2 so it can freely open and close are arranged in recessed parts 1a and 2a provided in at least one of the weatherstrip side of the door body 1 or a weatherstrip side of the door frame 2. It is composed so that shaft end sides of the hinges 5 do not protrude outside the recessed parts. A support member 8 of the airtight material 7 is arranged in a lower frame portion of the door body 1, and the airtight material 7 is supported on the door body 1 by the support member 8 so as it can vertically move. In opening of the door, the airtight material 7 is withdrawn into an interior side of the door body, and the airtight material 7 is projected to a position contacting the door frame 7 in closing of the door.
