PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice washing and cooking device with a rice storage compartment at the upper part, allowing an operator to execute the work safely. SOLUTION: The rice washing and cooking device 1 consists of a rice washing and cooking device body and a work step detachably mounted on the rice washing and cooking device. The rice washing and cooking device body has the rice storage compartment 10 at the upper part and a rice cooker 30 at the lower part. A rice cooking area is formed in the rice washing and cooking device body for the rice cooking process, and a rice washer 20 is disposed below the rice storage compartment and above the rice cooking area. The work step has a lock part to be attached to/detached from a locked part of the rice washing and cooking device. By locking the lock part with the locked part, the work step is integrally fixed with the rice washing and cooking device body on the floor surface. The lock part is formed at one end of the work step and in addition, a foldable leg part is formed at the other end.
