PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of sound due to vibration of a radiation fin. SOLUTION: In a heat sink 10, recesses 16<SB>1</SB>to 16<SB>n</SB>, 18<SB>1</SB>to 18<SB>n</SB>and 20<SB>1</SB>to 20<SB>n</SB>in three rows are cut in respective tip parts of the radiation fins 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>n</SB>. Coupling members 22, 24 and 26, formed in round bar shapes, are engaged with the recesses 16<SB>1</SB>to 16<SB>n</SB>, 18<SB>1</SB>to 18<SB>n</SB>and 20<SB>1</SB>to 20<SB>n</SB>, and they are clamped by caulking work. The three coupling members 22, 24 and 26 are fixed to extend in a direction orthogonal with an extending direction of the radiation fins 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>n</SB>. Thus, the radiation fins 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>n</SB>are reinforced and rigidity can be improved by clamping the coupling members 22, 24 and 26, while they are engaged with the recesses 16<SB>1</SB>to 16<SB>n</SB>, 18<SB>1</SB>to 18<SB>n</SB>and 20<SB>1</SB>to 20<SB>n</SB>. Thus, the tips parts of the radiation fins 14<SB>1</SB>to 14<SB>n</SB>become difficult to resonate and vibration which becomes the cause of noise occurrence can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
