PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner adopting an overfield optical system, which prevents image quality from being degraded by flare light and to provide an image forming device provided with the optical scanner. SOLUTION: Laser beams LB are limited by an aperture part 112H of an aperture member 112 so as to have the width in a main scanning direction limited and have the width reduced in the main scanning direction on the outside of an effective scanning area, so that occurrence of what is called flare light is prevented to improve uniformity of the light quantity.
