<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize favorable acceleration performance in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for a vehicle mounts an engine 100, a motor generator 500 for assisting the engine 100, and a fluid coupling 200 for transmitting the driving force inputted from it to an automatic transmission 300. The controller includes an ECT<SB>-</SB>ECU400 where the degree of assistance of the driving force by the motor generator 500 is set corresponding to the ratio of the inputted number of revolutions and the output numbers of revolutions in the fluid coupling and the gear ratio at start, and which adjusts the degree of assistance of the driving force by the motor generator 500, corresponding to the degree of acceleration requested of a vehicle and the starting gear ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
