PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol film roll capable of obtaining an optically uniform polyvinyl alcohol film having an excellent appearance. SOLUTION: A polyvinyl alcohol film roll is made by winding the polyvinyl alcohol film on a surface of a cylindrical core tube that after making the polyvinyl alcohol film by using a polyvinyl alcohol resin solution.
