PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents compiling device which completes the reproduction of a combined moving image signal and of a combined audio signal simultaneously when reproducing combined audio data according to a sampling frequency that is assigned to a combined file. SOLUTION: According to the contents compiling device, when JPEG (joint photographic experts group) data and audio data forming a movie file 1 and those forming a movie file 2 are combined, a CPU 12 calculates the reproduction frequency of a combined audio data on the basis of the sampling frequency of the audio data of the movie file 1 and that of the movie file 2. The calculated sampling frequency, i.e., reproduction frequency, enables a simultaneous completion of the reproduction of a combined JPEG data and the combined audio data, and is written in on a combined file.
