PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network corresponding type facsimile device in which a transmission result can be notified to a user in real time by transmitting the transmission result to a personal computer of a request origin with an instant message when a facsimile transmission request is made from a personal computer on a network. SOLUTION: The network corresponding type facsimile device is connected to a network in order to transmit/receive image data as an attached file of an electronic mail. When the facsimile transmission request is made from a terminal connected on the network, the network corresponding type facsimile device has a transmitting means to transmit the transmission result to the terminal of the request origin with an instant message.
