<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and reduce the cost of a portable communication terminal while maintaining the usefulness thereof by making the provision of a recording element for saving an image unnecessary in the portable communication terminal, in spite that a large capacity storing mechanism for image data are provided. <P>SOLUTION: An image server 22 is provided on the side a base station unit 21. Upon shooting operation, the image data shot by an imaging device 11 of the portable communication terminal 10 are only temporarily stored in an image buffer 12, and are not recorded and saved in the portable communication terminal 10. The terminal 10 is connected to the image server 22 via a public line 25 and the base station unit 21, and the image data is transferred to the image server 22 and recorded and saved therein. The image server 22 notifies the terminal 10 of the address information for the recorded image data. Upon perusal of the recorded image, the transfer of the image data is requested based on the address information, and the image data is transferred from the image server 22 to the terminal 10, and the image is displayed on the display device 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
