PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platelike heat exchanger capable of reducing an installation space by reducing its thickness on the whole as much as possible and providing an inlet and outlet for fluid on an end face. SOLUTION: A platelike element 10c forming a channel 11c by a cedar twill pattern on one face by etching, a platelike element 10a forming channels 11a, 12a by the cedar twill pattern on both faces, a platelike element 10b forming channels 11b, 12b by the same pattern, and a platelike element 10d forming a channel 11d by the same pattern on one face are overlapped and joined. Flow passages 11, 12 communicating the channels 11c with 11a, the channels 12a with 12b, the channels 11b with 11a, the channels 12b with 12a, and the channels 11b with 11d, respectively, are formed, and adjacent flow passages 11 and 12 are separated from each other. Ports which communicate with these respective flow passages 11, 12 separately and become an inlet and outlet for fluid are formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
