PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train time searching device for automatically searching and exhibiting a recommendation departure time of a departure place together with a using train line information by designating a desired arrival time of a destination place. SOLUTION: A required train line time information is stored in a train line time information database 12 in advance. When a train line and a time are searched, a departure station and a destination station are inputted, so that line/transit station searching means 13, 14 search information of the database 12 to extract a via line and a transit station. The desired arrival date and time at the destination station are inputted, a train time searching means 16 goes back to the departure station via the transit station from the destination station, so as to extract an optimum riding date and time at the departure station, and a using train kind.
