<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent functional deterioration of a combustion catalyst by appropriately setting supply amounts of liquid fuel and air to the combustion catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel reformer starting device is provided with a combustion catalyst 13 and a vaporizer 11 integrated with the combustion catalyst 13 in its upstream side. And the combustion catalyst 13 and the vaporizer 11 are provided with a catalyst temperature sensor 25 and a vaporizer temperature sensor 27 for detecting each temperature. Based on the detected value of each of the temperature sensors 25, 27, a control circuit device 23 controls the quantities of a liquid fuel from a liquid fuel injection valve 19 and air from an air inlet hole 17 which are provided to a gas mixer 9 in the upstream of the vaporizer 11, and warms a fuel reformer providing hydrogen obtained by reforming the fuel to a fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
