PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional travel transmission is provided with a transmission lever for each transmission, requiring complicated shifting operations, and causing erroneous operations due to bad operability. SOLUTION: The monolever type transmission for a tractor comprises a travel transmission 1 outputting rotational motive power inputted from a prime mover side, through a first sub transmission 2 to a main transmission 3, through a second sub transmission 4 to the traveling side. Switching operations of high/low speeds by the first sub transmission 2, and gear changing operations of multiple steps of the main transmission 3 are able to be switched by operation of one main transmission lever 5. The main transmission lever 5 has a structure capable of performing one switching operation by a transmission operation in the forward/rearward direction, and performing the other switching operation by a transmission operation in the left/right direction.
