The model helicopter has a hull with internal holder (5) for rotor shaft (1), transmission (4) and drive unit. This consists of a horizontal turbine with a turbine shaft (3), which is extended in the intake area of the turbine, and is connected to the transmission, positioned in front of it in direction of flow. The transmission is a belt drive, a toothed gear drive, or a friction gear drive. There is a clutch (7), esp. a centrifugal clutch, between rotor shaft and transmission. The turbine has an RPM limiter containing a control for a fuel pump.
