PURPOSE: A double pipe heat exchanger having an external appearance in helical shape is provided to improve the efficiency of heat transfer or heat exchange by enlarging a heat transfer area of a heat transfer pipe. CONSTITUTION: A double pipe heat exchanger is formed of an outer pipe(110) and an inner pipe(120). The outer pipe is formed of an inlet(111) for supplying a material to be heated, a heat exchange pipe(112) connected with the inlet for having an inner space to exchange heat, and including a helical shape part(112A), and an outlet(113) connected with the heat exchange pipe for discharging the material. The inner pipe is a heat transfer pipe embedded in the outer pipe, wherein the inner pipe is formed of an inlet(121) formed at the outlet of the outer pipe for supplying a heating material, an embedded pipe(122) connected with the inlet to be extended to the heat exchange pipe, and an outlet(123) extended to the inlet of the outer pipe for discharging the heating material. |
