PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a mark onto a rubber product wherein a cost is not raised, dimensional freedom is high and a mark forming body can be repetitively used while the mark does not become unclear, and to provide the mark forming body to be used for the method. SOLUTION: For the method for forming a mark M on a surface 4'a of the rubber product 4', when an unvulcanized rubber product 4 is vulcanized with a mold 5, the mark molding 1 comprising a metal sheet 3 of 0.3-0.5mm in thickness having an extract part 2 extracted in a shape of the mark M is made to intervene between a surface 4a of the unvulcanized rubber product 4 and a forming surface 5a of the mold 5 to carry out vulcanizing.
