DISPOSAL TREATMENT METHOD FOR TONER CARTRIDGE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely dispose of a toner cartridge at a low cost.

SOLUTION: The used toner cartridge C is mechanically pressed by a pressure mechanism 1 by a pressure higher than the breaking pressure of a plastic part but lower than the pressure for fixing the plastic part to a metal part and the pressed toner cartridge C is separated into the plastic part and the metal part on a work table 2 by a worker. The pressure by the pressure mechanism 1 is 0.1-80 MPa, more preferably 10-60 MPa. A toner sucking collection means 3 for sucking and collecting the residual toner is provided to the work table 2.
