<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specular with which wide visual fields are secured to pituitary glands in front of them and a surgical device can easily be inserted from the base sides of a pair of right and left blades by opening and expanding the pair of right and left blades to be inserted to nostrils with approach to their tips without giving laceration to the nostrils. <P>SOLUTION: Each of the pair of right and left long blades 2,2 which are disposed oppositely to each other, which have each a width suitable for being inserted to the nostril easily and which extend horizontally consists of: a blade part 2a,2a for nostril insertion which has a length from the nostril to the vicinity of the Turkish saddle; and a rear opposing wall part 2b,2b extending backward and tilting outward. A device insertion port 3 opened and expanded backward is formed between the rear opposing walls, and joint rod parts 4,4 offset from the rear ends of the rear opposing walls to lateral sides and bending nearly in the shape of L are extended. The rear end parts of the horizontal extension parts 4a,4a of the L-shaped joint rod parts are joined mutually rotatably with a joint pin 5, and an adjusting screw 7 is provided at a screw hole 6 made at the horizontal extension part of either of the joint rod parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
