DAMPING STRUCTURE FOR GEAR TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear transmission device enabling a wave washer to constantly achieve a normal damping function by restricting excessive flexure of the wave washer which absorbs vibration when a gear is vibrated.

SOLUTION: A damping structure in this gear transmission device comprises the wave washer 31 provided between a gear 21 as part of the gear transmission device 15 axially movably journalled between a first and a second fixed walls 10a and 10b facing each other and the second fixed wall 10b to energize the gear 21 toward the first fixed wall 10a. A cylindrical part 30 surrounding the wave washer 31 is protruded from either of mutually facing end surfaces of the gear 21 and the second fixed wall 10b. The cylindrical part 30 is applied to the other end surface to regulate flexure of the wave washer 31 from becoming over a prescribed value.
