PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that not three signals in the usual time but two signals are transferred between remote controllers until an interphone speaking circuit opens in the conventional remote controller system for hot-water supply units, resulting in that the signal system is unbalanced to produce beat waves high enough to produce an audible noise from a speaker of the remote controller. SOLUTION: A hot water supply unit remote controller for controlling the talking of an interphone and the operation of a hot-water supply unit has a controller 1f at one side which leaves a speaker amplifier circuit 16b disabled in a remote controller 1, until a remote controller 2 on the other side receives a talk-on signal S15 to output an audio signal carrier after a talking switch 11c attached to the remote controller 1 is pushed. After the remote controller 2 on the other side receives the talk-on signal to output the audio signal carrier S23, it enables a speaker amplifier circuit 16b in the remote controller 1 to open an interphone speaking circuit.
