PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for executing a hot standby switching processing at high speeds. SOLUTION: This computer comprises a storage part and a control part for executing a driver means and an access control means. The driver means is set in such an active state that can acquire structure information in a shared disk device when a system is started and can transmit an access request to the shared disk device based on the structure information. Also, the driver means transmits an access request to the shared disk device when receiving the access request to the shared disk device. Based on a control table indicating a prohibited access request for each accessed address, the access control means runs an application program to determine whether the access request must be transmitted or not, and transmits the access request to the non-prohibited accessed addresses to the driver means.
