PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clay composition which is harmless even if put into a mouth, odorless, and also excellent in physical properties such as non-hand-adhesiveness, extensibility, shape retainability, workability, and moldability. SOLUTION: The clay composition contains (A) polybutene and/or polyisobutylene in conformity with the food additive standard, (B) glycerine fatty acid esters and/or sorbitan fatty acid esters in conformity with the food additive standard, and (C) a filler in conformity with the food additive standard; or the clay composition further contains (D) petroleum wax and/or processed edible oil in conformity with the food additive standard; or the clay composition contains (C) one or more kinds of filler selected out of talc, calcium carbonate, and powdered cellulose; or the clay composition contains (C) a filler containing talc and powdered cellulose; or the clay composition further contains (E) glycerin and/or propylene glycol in conformity with the food additive standard.
