<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming system which always accumulates copy data without a user's being conscious and easily reuses the copy data. <P>SOLUTION: A copying machine 1 transmits printing data on an image which it reads and history information on the printing data to a copy server 2. The copy server 2 manages the print data and the history information, which it receives from the copying machine 1 with a job ID. When the copying machine 1 receives the job ID from the copy server 2, it transmits an electronic mail, including the job ID thus received, to the user's terminal 3. When the copy server 2 receives the job ID from the copying machine 1, it transmits the print data, corresponding to the job ID thus received, to the copying machine 1, and reprinting is made by the copying machine 1 with the print data thus received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
