PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair fixing device which can assist the fixation of a wheelchair in the cabin of an automobile. SOLUTION: A platform 21 is provided on a tower rail 17 which vertically moves, and the platform 21 is vertically moved under a state wherein the wheelchair 22 is loaded. A retractor 32 is provided on the floor 12 in the cabin 11 of the automobile, and a belt 33 from the retractor 32 is pulled out to the rear end of the platform 21 through a through anchor 42 and a rear opening 15. At the distal end of the belt 33, a hook 44 which is fastened to the frame 43 of the wheelchair 22 is provided. On the platform 21, a guide plate 61 which is extended along the platform 21 descending by engaging with the belt 33 is provided. The detaching of the belt 33 from the guide plate 61 is guided by guide parts 83 and 84 on the rear edge side of the guide plate 61. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
