<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a reflecting light source type light emitting diode and to improve the performance of a photoelectric device by increasing a light emitting effect. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the reflecting light source type light emitting diode includes a step of forming a first type clad layer on a first substrate, a step of forming an active layer on the first type clad layer, a step of forming a second type clad layer on the active layer, a step of forming a second type conductive layer on the second type clad layer, a step of forming a second ohmic contact on the second type conductive layer, a step of removing the first substrate, a step of forming a first type ohmic contact pattern on the surface of the fist type clad layer previously connected to the first substrate, and a step of forming a metal reflecting layer on the first type ohmic contact pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
