PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access an anonymous FTP without making a user conscious about whether the server is an anonymous FTP server. SOLUTION: "Anonymous" is automatically assigned as a user ID to be connected to the FTP server (S402), when the user ID corresponding to an FTP server address assigned as a connection object is not registered, in the connection to the FTP server for providing FTP service.
