<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visual appeal of a game condition to a player. <P>SOLUTION: When the supply of power to an electric shutter 9 is turned off, the electric shutter 9 cuts off light, and backlight from a backlight unit 3 is reflected from the electric shutter 9 and the front indicator 2 is illuminated. The electric shutter 9 hides the rear indicator 8, and a player can see a color image displayed on the front indicator 2 like a transmitting color liquid crystal indicator illuminated with the backlight. When power is supplied to the electric shutter 9, the electric shutter 9 gets into a transmitting state, a player can see a scene in which the color image displayed on the front indicator 2 illuminated by the backlight and either a moving character by the rear indicator 8, a fixed figure, a pattern by a pattern indicator or an image by a color liquid crystal indicator are combined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
