PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit curing, improves a finish and suppress the generation of industrial waste. SOLUTION: A method for water-sealing a joint 71, 72 formed in plumbing uses a water sealant 1 that is shaped into a rope capable of filling a joint gap and is adapted to be adhered to a joint material, set at room temperature and shows rubber elasticity after setting.
