PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scanning apparatus in which deformation of a resin imaging element included in a scanning imaging optical system due to temperature changes can be effectively suppressed and correction for bending in the scanning line and/or constant speed can be accurately performed. SOLUTION: In the light scanning apparatus, the light beams from one or more light sources are deflected by a light deflecting means and the deflected beams are shaped into light spots on the objective face to scan by one or more scanning imaging optical systems. The apparatus is equipped with a shape holding means 102 which prevents or decreases changes in the form of one or more resin imaging elements 101 included in the scanning imaging optical system in the sub scanning direction and with a correcting means for bending in the scanning lines and/or a correcting means for inclination in the scanning lines which correct bending and/or inclination in the scanning lines in one or more resin imaging elements 101 included in the scanning imaging optical system.
