PURPOSE:To enable to obtain sufficiently large dynamic range by attenuating a laser light emitted from a laser oscillator in response to an incident angle. CONSTITUTION:When an angle of 56.7 deg. is applied in the interior of a laser tube 11 to a rectilinear deflecting plate 16, P-wave is theoretically transmitted by 100% through a rectlinearly deflecting plate 16, S-wave is reflected by 15% or more, and the laser output light 30 becomes the laser light of only the P-wave. When obtaining the output of 5-50W, a beam splitter 21 is disposed at an angle of 56.7 deg. through a controller 40, the input selection of a beam converter 23 is switched to a light transmission 32 side, while when obtaining the output to 0.05-0.4W, an external DC high voltage power source is controlled to regulate the laser output light 30, the angle of the splitter 21 is set to 65 deg., and the input selection of the converter 23 is switched to the reflected light 31 side. Thus, the light 31 and the transmitted light 32 are polarized by the incident angle of the splitter 21 to obtain the eventual beam light 33 as the output, thereby obtaining the dynamic range to 0.05-50W. |
