In a subscriber terminal/mobile telephone, one of a range of different received signals (In1,In2) from two antennas (Ant1,Ant2) or an antenna device with two receiving characteristics is fed by a control device (CL) to a received-signal processing device according to choice. The received signals are separated into sections by rapid switching or change-over. An Independent claim is also included for a device for transmitting data to a subscriber terminal/mobile telephone in a communications system.
