METHOD FOR MAKING HEAD GIMBAL ASSEMBLY, ACTUATOR, AND DISC DRIVE BY REMOVING THERMAL POLE TIP PROTRUSION FROM SPIN STAND LEVEL

PURPOSE: A method for making a head gimbal assembly, an actuator, and a disc drive by removing a thermal pole tip protrusion from a spin stand level is provided to minimize collision of a read-write head by reliably keeping a flight height in order to guarantee a quality of the disc drive even if the flight height is reduced and data ratio is increased. CONSTITUTION: A thermal pole tip protrusion tendency of the head gimbal assembly on a track collection member is decided for each track collection member(2012). The thermal pole tip protrusion tendency of the head gimbal assembly is estimated for each track collection member based on the thermal pole tip protrusion tendency on the track collection member(2022). A track collection includes an inner and an outer diameter track of a disc surface.
