The measurement table (12) has a plane surface with at least one attachment point (23,24) for positional accurate fixing of a workpiece. The plane surface has at least one first region (13a,13b) consisting of a first material with at least some the attachment points and at least one second region (25a-25c) with no attachment points of non-metallic cast material. AN Independent claim is also included for the following a method of manufacturing an inventive measurement table.
