<p>PURPOSE: A method for managing a state of a remote equipment of a mobile communication system is provided to recognize state information of and manage a state of system elements on a real time basis by enabling a central management device to detect checking items from the system elements frequently. CONSTITUTION: A network state manager(21) monitors a state change of a network device, and if a state of the network device has been changed, the network state manager(21) transfers state information of the network device to a network/processor communicating unit(13). The network/processor communicating unit(13) transfers the state information of the network device to a BSM(Base Station subsystem Manager) state manager(12). The BSM state manager(12) updates the state information of the network device in a database. When there is a request for information on a current state of the network device from an operator through a console window(3), an operator mating unit(11) interprets a state query command made for the network device by the operator, and transfers the interpreted state query command to the BSM state manager(12). The BSM state manager(12) receives a report about the state information from the updated database on a real time basis.</p> |
