The laminate floor covering comprises a layer of thermoplastic material which is firmly bonded to its underside. An Independent claim is also included for a method for producing such laminate floor covering. It involves heating the thermoplastic material, and applying it to the underside of the laminate floor covering by brushing or rolling processes.
